A smoky, sweet twist on classic wings that pack a flavorful punch, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Mix together the brown sugar, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  3. Toss the chicken wings with olive oil and then generously coat them with the Cajun spice mixture.
  4. Place the wings on the grill and cook for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are crispy and fully cooked.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy as a snack or dinner.

Notes

For extra crunchiness, pat the wings dry before marinating. Marinate for a deeper flavor, if time allows.
