A delightful Cajun Chicken Pasta that combines spicy Cajun chicken, creamy sauce, and colorful veggies for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning on the chicken breasts and add them to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, add onions and bell peppers; sauté until softened.
  4. Reduce heat and add heavy cream; stir until combined. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
  5. Toss in the cooked pasta and sliced chicken. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra spice, add cayenne pepper or jalapeños while cooking the veggies.
