A creamy and spicy pasta dish featuring Cajun-seasoned steak and rich, cheesy rigatoni, perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Cajun-seasoned steak tips
  • 8 ounces rigatoni pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the Cajun steak tips and cook until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add the cooked rigatoni and steak tips to the sauce, tossing to coat everything evenly.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Feel free to swap the steak for chicken or shrimp, and use half-and-half instead of cream if needed. For a twist, add sautéed bell peppers or mushrooms.
