A comforting and easy recipe to create delicious banana bread using a bread machine, perfect for busy days or family breakfasts.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Mix the mashed bananas with the melted butter.
  2. Stir in the baking soda and salt.
  3. Add sugar, the beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Lastly, add the flour and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the bread machine pan.
  6. Select the ‘quick bread’ cycle and start the machine.
  7. Once finished, remove the pan and let the bread cool before slicing.

Notes

Make sure your bananas are very ripe for the best flavor. Store in an airtight container up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
