Tender chicken thighs coated in a flavorful, crispy mixture, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Soak the chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  3. Mix together the breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and coat each thigh in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.

Notes

For extra crispiness, press the breadcrumb coating firmly onto the chicken. Consider adding cayenne pepper for extra heat.
