Warm and fluffy strawberry pancakes made with fresh strawberries for a delightful breakfast treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • Extra strawberries for topping
  • Maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just combined, then fold in the diced strawberries.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  5. Serve warm topped with extra strawberries and maple syrup.

Notes

For fluffiest pancakes, avoid overmixing your batter. Add cinnamon or vanilla for extra flavor.
